Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use JanaLearn.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

If you use JanaLearn on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rates posted at sign-up.

Usage above plan limits may incur additional charges based on credit packs or metered usage.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may issue refunds at our discretion.

You may not use JanaLearn to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or designed to deceive or defraud.

You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its underlying AI providers.

You may not use JanaLearn to build a competing service or to train machine-learning models on its outputs.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the documents and prompts you submit ("Inputs").

You grant JanaLearn a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit Inputs to AI providers solely to deliver the service.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the AI-generated outputs ("Outputs") produced for your account, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to your Inputs and that your Outputs do not infringe third-party rights.

Outputs are produced by machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose.

JanaLearn is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

You are solely responsible for reviewing Outputs before using or distributing them.

JanaLearn, its software, branding, and documentation are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property law.

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Beta features are provided "as is" and may change or be removed without notice.

JanaLearn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JanaLearn and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.

You agree to indemnify and hold JanaLearn harmless from any claim arising out of your Inputs, your Outputs, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JanaLearn is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
